It Bore it all

This is just one more poem about the whole earth in common. A symbol of patience, motherhood,kindness,generosity,charity and what not,a poem is't enough to express it's greatness, but, still, i try.

Ever since, man has stepped on earth,

she had cared for him

She has borne every thing for him

and is still doing the same now

As a mother cares her child,

earth had cared for man more than that.

As a mother teaches her child many things,

she had taught him the whole

As a mother gives her son  everything she could,

she had given herself as a sacrifice

But, the man yearns for more....

kills his own brothers for his wants

what can you say of a son,

who kills his mother for his comforts

but, the mother never stops giving,

cause, she still cares for her son,

with a feeble hope of him coming to his senses

but she still didn't understand that,

greed had conquered the man's heart

A thoughtful poem about Mother Earth. Given that earth is seen as a mother, would the title be better as 'She bore it all'? or She bore them all?

the major cause of our downfall till date remains avarice.And it will remain.Greed can never be minimised but yes understanding should come atleast after reading such a great poem.
