Off the Page

Just a little somethin' I thought of.

I wish I could make my art come off the page

It just sits there

Giving me a blank stare 

This dilemma brings me into a rage 

I sit at the table

Thinking I'm able

To make a masterpiece

I have the picture in my head, 

But I can't make it with my pen 

I just sit there and think, 

Of the picture in my mind, 

I don't work well with ink

When it comes to art...

Well, I'm no Einstein

I wish I could make my art come off the page

I didn't really know what this was, so I classified it as a limerick. Also, I'm only 12, so don't be too harsh. Please review :)

Yup the problems I face all the time, and I am sure many writers do too. So don't feel bad. Think on the positive. :)

nice work once again writers block like many say rest and food helps just siting out in the nature and Meditating and just closing the eyes helps but some times its the body the heart saying rest take a break some times i write none stop and won't rest but have to it's same if it's telling me feed me then we can write more may sound funny but it's very true. Nice work BRAVO god bless lily

Not a limerick..but yes the writers block is the curse of the creative mind..walk away and come back later..it should never be forced..well done though

Geez, dude was your birthday in between this poem and the 'Why is it?' because you say you're 12 in this and 13 in the other.(nice observation huh?) Anyways, it's called writers block... THAT or you just can't find the right words to describe the detail in your mental picture. There's too much to really put it in a definite format...it's how we function. We just don't know where to start. Hell, start with the hair or top and work your way down and then organize it into a writing piece. Nice job though.
