Shadowers

There was a thread about write a poem about the class that people play in this video game called Maplestory. I thought this was really interesting and this is what I wrote about mine.

Born into shadows we stand to fight, helping maplers with an alluring light.
Dagger and shield on thy hands, we shall protect our almighty land.
The path is long and hard don't you see, but we shall beat black mage and claim victory.
Memories engraved upon my dagger here, as I'll fight with my shadow to kill the fear

Author's Note

If anyone has not played Maplestory, they probably wouldn't understand certain things. I'll clarify them here. Maplers are what people who play the game are called. The black mage is the main antagonist in the game we have to fight.

I honestly like it, it's sounds like it would be the entry to a story though. Maybe you should write a paradox of Maplestory? It would be pretty interesting I believe.

Surprisingly, I am writing a story involving my character I had. My writer block is preventing me of figuring out on what to do for a flashback right now on it though ;-;

Ah, well just try keepin' your mind off things an it'll flow out. I used to have a problem with writer block, so I know how that is.
