Linger

Linger

A Poem by Reign
"

stuck in the past. trapped in your head...

"
Ah, you've grown up,
And you always looked the same.

You speak less of me now,
Though the hazy words still remain.

You found a new love,
Though this feelings go unchanged.

Selfish, unfair and a cheat!
Yet here you are in my embrace.

Speaking riddles, never changing.
Like how we always remember it.

Rewind time, only one can wish,
Nothing changes, that I promise.

Always fleeting, time is ticking.
But here you always stay and linger.

Stuck in the past, trapped in your head.
And always locked up in my beating chest.
