twistedA Poem by P-lesha black child sharing the pain that comes with colour and a black society
my story is too long to be longed for.
What I see in my reflection is a different perception and this matter of perception turns into a matter of deception and now everything in my life feels like fifty questions! what the world sees in me, is not who I am. I am not an open book I am not that girl for what I know I am just like one of you with my own identity. I've been distracted by ambition Insulted by my courage and Defeated by my courage surrounded with rejection left with no direction. I am a black child with a "hungry stomach" a brain that lacks knowledge a black soul with a twisted heart © 2017 P-lesh |
