Whisperings

A Poem by Phill Oz O'fee
"

Just whispers on the wind...

"

Whisperings

Fine prose

Scribed on frosted falling leaves

Glisten sparkling

In dawn’s first visible light

With words

Of genteel true emotions

Drifting eloquently

Just within arms stretch

And upon

Gesticulating winter winds

A spiral

Of intertwining whisperings

From where

I swore I could perceive

Your soft subtle susurrant

Calling out my name

Sentience sensations

Slowly seep into my spirit

A warm-heartedness

Only experienced

When sensing someone special

Has countenanced

A reciprocal respect

Through mutually shared esteem

Written words

Challenging my senses

Ignites imagination

From your creative inspirations

Stimulating emotions

Within inner aspirations

Secret desires

Of being more than friends

man! this is a keeper Phil! thanks so much for sharing with us .. the scene is enchanting ... i recall my young pre and teen years in upstate NY where nights under the corner street lamp warmed dreams of love with gentle falling ...huge snow flakes ... admirable use of the poets tools ...wonderful use of the language ... delicately emotive .. i especially thrill to the small whirlwind of snow .. and these lines:
"When sensing someone special
Has countenanced
A reciprocal respect"
how much better can your moment get than to share it with sensing the presence of a love .. really enjoyed reading ... Merry Christmas! :)

Wow the language the cadence the flow your imagery and subject matter are woven spectacularly in this. I love the alliteration, it is magical as is this poem. I'm shelving this one! By god in heaven i hope your desire comes to fruition!

Many thanks my friend for your kind words - we live in hope (and faith) … :-)
Wow! Such a truly generative piece for inspiring reflection about poetry and poetic inspiration. I also loved how you flawlessly crafted your examples of alliteration, not easy to do.

Truly a nice job.

All the best,

Lanny
