![]() The moment holds its breath A thin silver thread Between heartbeats Trembling but unbroken
Light hangs in the air As if deciding whether to fall Dust motes drifting like slow constellations Searching for a sky
Nothing moves Yet everything leans forward The way a question leans toward an answer Not ready to be spoken
In this hush Even memory forgets its direction Past and future loosen their grip Becoming two shadows Cast by the same flame And you stand there Weightless in the pause Listening for the world To choose its next breath
