Defensive PostureA Poem by Phill Oz O'feeProtecting love onesDefensive Posture
When peril stalks the threshold of my hall and night would claim the quiet of my kin, I rise, not born for blood or battle’s call, but sworn that no such shadow shall come in.
No tyrant’s rage, nor villain’s whispered threat shall break the bond that love itself has cast; For hearts that stand together, never let The storm undoes what time and trust have amassed.
I am the watch-fire on the midnight stone, the steadfast oath no terror can unmake; My courage forged not for myself alone, but for the lives that tremble in its wake.
So let the dark advance with all its might I hold the line, and I will keep the light. Phillozofee@2026 © 2026 Phill Oz O'feeFeatured Review
