Maybe it's you

that was never true

Making me blue

Without a single clue

Maybe it's me

who couldn't see,

the kinda person you could be

Instead you blamed me

Maybe it's the world

that has our emotions curled

Fussing over petty things

Even making me see things

Or maybe it was us

The emotions we could never discuss

Always making a fuss

Or maybe it's just you...

It's tough when a relationship (or friendship, for that matter) breaks down and it happens in a way where you don't really know what caused it or who is to blame. Sometimes there isn't just one factor, and you're looking for the answer to find closure, but there isn't one single answer to be found. Beautiful poetry.

This is true, there can be so many reasons why a relationship doesn't work, but sometimes it's one of the people in the relationship who causes it to break.
