Aphy, A very emotion-grabbing and poignant write. A loved one with a terminal illness leads to a clock counting down the time left, the one who is ill striving to reach goals that may not be enough time for; when death is reached the goal to fly is attained, the wind carrying the goals freely and proud. A very nicely done work! take care...dan

Oooh, that's on my anime list. This reminded me of Yuuki from Sword Art Online II, it also made me think of Ayase from Guilty Crown.
I like the story, it's lovely as the sky.
Well done!

I have never seen the movie, but your poem tells the story in your very own way. Beautifully done

Very bittersweet. A dream so deeply held that it seems like even the constraints of your illness can't possibly stop you; that, like in the movies, everything will work out. But the illness, and life itself, carries on, and in the end, you don't live long enough to realise your dream in life, but in death you're flying finally. I haven't seen the movie so this probably isn't the plot, but strictly as a poem, that's how it feels to me. Beautifully done.
