I promise my life was full,
that I learned
that I had passion for my words
that I knew my family was good
that I had hope
that I accepted happiness
and rejoiced in it
that I kept my heart's pure dreams
that I didn't regret a thing I learned from
that I knew I was beautiful
that living made me stronger
that I cried in the rain
that time passed too quickly
that I smiled in the sunlight
that I'll always love you

Don't forget you made my world brighter
Always keep my sense of humor in mind

Don't blame anybody,
it was time.

i can't begin to count how many times i have had this very epiphany , it is sometimes tempting to imagine how others would react at your parting, but it is more interesting to think of knowing after your demise what has happened...of course, this isn't possible (unless you haunt your former world) i think this poem definitely answers the inner spirit of the sense of self worth and the need to be remembered and loved. this is perfection in self analogy and a poignant, direct piece of writing. absolutely wonderful!!!
