In Time of Silent Boredom

I see this,
this writing on my arm-
a burst of creativity
   from my mind
   to my hand
   through the marker
   on my skin.

And can't help but to think
                                  of all the more to come.

Can't say I have ever done that... but the poem also makes me think of how sometimes it is as if when we write that we are just the vessel and the words are coming from somewhere else.
