I Have One...

One that I know well

One I see among the crowds

One I know that does not see

One I know that does not breathe

 

I know one who is strong

I know one who is smart

I know one under the covers

who wears a mighty fine sly smile

 

I see one in the sky among the crystals frozen in glass

I see one in my mind, alighted with the golden glow

of my own admiration

 

I have so many all the same

too many I may count

I know so many more

all one I see everyday

I see the world and how they spill

blood, tears, sweat, and hearts.
