Darkness

A Poem by Poe

One of my best.

Deep in the shadows,
Where i live my life,
If you saw what i saw,
You would never return to the real world.

Im alive, But not breathing,
My eyes are open,
But I can not see,
This is my life, forever in the darkness.

Does god stay in heaven,
For fear of what he has created?
I want to know,
I will never be able to ask him.

I hear of the problems,
I try to help!
The worlds strongest man,
Carrying the worlds problems on the strongest back.

Deep in the shadows,
Where i lived my life,
I learned of the answers,
I have returned to the real world...

I have returned to the real world,
With my family and friends,
Yet I still have one last question..
Why is it still only darkness?
