The Life of a Waterfall

There is a purpose.

Falling, falling,

Steady is its stream.

Never stalling,
Ever following the dream.

 

Unleashing the glory

In which it came,

It tells of its story,

The life of a waterfall sustains.

 

For it supplies the sea,

Nourishing its current.

Giving sustaining power to be

That which it was sent.

 

Our lives were meant to be poured out,

Telling the amazing story of who we are.

Love, it should shout --

The life of a waterfall is a work of art.

 

Ever flowing are we,

Giving thought to our dreams.

Even more, is knowing we’re free

To help others believe.

 

Falling, falling,

Let us show the love of Christ to all.

For He is calling

The life of a waterfall.

Waterfalls are one of the most beautiful wonders of the world. I have had the luxury of seeing waterfalls in California, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Oahu, Maui and Puerto Rico. Each one has it's own personality, its own beauty. You captured that in this poem my friend :)
