In A Million TearsA Poem by Melinda McQueenFlowing down, Cascading rivers of sorrow. Covering the soul as a gown, Emotions ever grow.
Whatever it takes To know hope is near. In motion it wakes In a million tears.
Too little, too much, Waves upon waves. The trickle, the rush To the outward plane.
When sadness creeps, Giving way to fear… When pain seeps In a million tears.
Like falling rain, Tears flood the soul. There’s no refrain When it’s time to let go.
The eyes cry, The heart feels. Hope resides In a million tears. © 2014 Melinda McQueenReviews
