Have You Seen My Son?

Have You Seen My Son?

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

He was born in a manger

And slept in a bed of hay.

He was first known of angels

Who were at His stay.

Have you seen My Son?

He was about My business

As He and I are one,

He came to bless.

He declared My love to all,

Yet they did not hear.

He answered My call

From year to year.

Have you seen My Son?

He was a carpenter of wood,

All the while building My Kingdom.

He was all that was good.

He was on the cross at Calvary

Where He died for your sins.

…Where He cleansed many

From death’s end.

Have you seen My Son?

He’s in the hearts of My own.

Have you looked close enough?

He’s the One I’ve sent to bring you Home.
