The Carpenter's JobA Poem by Melinda McQueenBuilding projects with his hands, He may have made chairs, tables and stands. Working diligently, piece by piece, Until the job was complete.
The job of a carpenter is to mold and shape, To design in a perfect way. Taking precision and time To get it just right.
The attention he must have paid, The skill he so engraved. Working with all his might, He had something in his sight.
Taking it as his own Until his will had unfold, He mastered the plan From the blueprint’s command.
Working from morning to night, He did his service just and right. Yet, it wasn’t in carpentry details… However, He did need wood and nails.
For what He was sent to do Was the most greatest of truths. As for Jesus, the Carpenter’s job Was in building the Kingdom of God. © 2015 Melinda McQueenReviews
