What Will You have Me Write Today?

Let Your glory pour from Heaven,

Pour down over me.

For grace is sent

That set my heart free.

 

A need to be filled

In some way.

A heart needing to be stilled,

What will you have me write today?

 

The light shining

Into a dark place.

A voice reminding

Of Your grace.

 

Speak to my spirit

Come what may,

So others will be blessed when they hear it.

What will you have me write today?

 

Help me to remember that when I hurt

Is when You are using me.

For other hearts are heavy and yearn

To be pain-free
