The Highest PointA Poem by Melinda McQueenThe journey
vast, Wide
is the path. Heavy-laden
packs, Unfamiliar
tracks.
The valleys,
Striving
to meet The highest
point in one’s journey.
The rocky
trail Where
dreams often fail. The deep
well Where
despair dwells.
Ever
reaching, Ever
unleashing. A force
leading, The highest
point meeting.
For it
is there, Awaiting
each of us to adhere. Beckoning
us near By the
way He has cleared.
Now we
find The path
is not as wide. Our heavy-laden
hearts thrive At the
highest point which is the Great Divine. © 2015 Melinda McQueenReviews
