Who Holds the PenA Poem by Melinda McQueenPages filled with droplets of emotion, Taking on forms we know not. The spirit’s devotion Never fails to knock.
Life takes turns and we are in a place We never expected to be in. We wonder in our state…. Who holds the pen?
A state of not being In complete control, Rather, clearly seeing There is much we don’t know.
Trying to do it on our own, But when we stop to listen… Is it not our will alone… Who holds the pen?
Closing the eyes, Let our lives flow And let the Pen Holder be the guide As we faithfully follow.
Leaving our lives in His hands, Our story will only deepen Once we understand It’s Jesus Who holds the pen. © 2015 Melinda McQueenReviews
