Love's Anchor

It holds,

It enfolds.

It bestows,

It knows.

 

A foundation on which to stand,

A helping hand

In time of need,

Love’s anchor, ever to be.

 

It can sustain the weary soul,

It can keep one afloat.

It can still the heart,

It can conquer the raging war.

 

A hand of hope,

A tight rope.

Everlasting grace,

Love’s anchor ever in place.

 

It calms the spirit,

It strengthens the song so all can hear it.

It finds the lost,

It knows the cost.

 

The Lord on His throne

Enfolds, bestows, knows.

God Almighty, Creator.
