Just a Little While

Just a little while

Was all she needed

To ride the miles

Which were deemed.

 

Grateful is she

For the chance

To forever be

In an on-going dance.

 

Yes, a dance takes place
In her heart

Each time she thinks his name;

A love ever a special part.

 

Just a little while

Did a world of good.

For she smiles

At memories of a heart understood.

 

Though she wishes

He were still here to walk the miles,

She is glad to have had his love kisses

If but… just a little while.
