Writing it Out

Creating something

from absolutely nothing.

Yet, it has always been there

is forum of your mind, waiting to be shared.

 

A world all your own

can you seek and bestow.

A place where you are safe.

A place which bares your name.

 

When you want something,

give it wings

By laying it down...

writing it out.

 

Filling a page

with beauty and grace,

you are taken away

to a better place.

 

It sets you apart,

and forces you to listen to your heart.

It enables you to live in a world

where your thoughts turn into pearls. 

 

Molding word after word

until they become a mighty sword,

slaying every unspoken doubt

by writing it out.

I have felt fairly often that while I am writing, the creative process seeps into my life story and nagging problems in my personal life become more clear. The act of writing opens up more neurons to devise answers to life's questions. It's somewhat cathartic and cleansing, nicely conceived idea well written. take care...dan
