Love ComesA Poem by Melinda McQueenLove Comes
As the river flows And a soft wind blows, Love comes in a rush In a quiet hush.
Whispering by name, It shares its fame. Unlocking corridors of the heart Which were once dark.
Tickling from inside As a single feather guides On an enduring breeze, Love comes in a heap.
Falling… falling… by and by, Yet, soaring high. Drifting with the breeze Ever so free.
Not bounded by limits, But it is what it is… A gift to be cradled and held, Something to be felt.
When one least expects it, Its presence is sent. When dreaming is done, Love comes. © 2016 Melinda McQueenReviews
