In blossoms it grows

Into something to hold.

Towering to the sky,

Love takes time.

 

Believing in something

Enables its wings

To fly all the way.

Love takes faith.

 

To be in the right place,

To be sure in the race.

Hanging on to persistence,

Love takes patience

 

A cord of three

Fashioned never to release.

A bold stand to let it be.

Love takes strength.

 

But even more…

As the heart explores,

Does one truly live

When Love gives.
