I Wish You Would Die!!!A Poem by Melinda McQueen
I Wish
You Would Die!!! Why
do you hang around When
I don’t want you to be found? Unwanted
and certainly have no need. So,
take heed! You only
limit me, Of you,
I want to be free Why do
you insist on coming along for the ride? I
wish you would die! Impressing
your will in my life An imposter!
Don’t
you know I could do so much Without
your devious touch? Of me,
you continuously speak lies! I wish
you would die! Get
out of my light So I
can shine. Go back
to where you came from, You’re
done! This
day I commit to live in spite of you, And
to myself, be true. I render
you in defeat Until
you wish you would die, Cerebral Palsy!!! © 2016 Melinda McQueenReviews
