Curled Up in His ArmsA Poem by Melinda McQueen
Curled Up in His Arms
Sometimes I just need to get away, From the harshness of life, From the pain And all the strife.
Closing my eyes, I let go, Retreating to a place warm. I let the tears flow, Curled up in His arms.
When life becomes too much, He is my gentle stay. At His touch, My hope is sustained.
My safe place, My harbor in the storm. I find His grace Curled up in His arms.
So many places I wish to go, So many
things I wish to be. Even when I cannot see.
At His touch, the Holy Spirit dwells Within me; I’m in no harm. I need to be held, Curled up in His arms. © 2016 Melinda McQueenReviews
