Light in the WindowA Poem by Melinda McQueen![]() Light in the Window
Lingering softly, Beckoning peace. A warmth in its glow, A beauty bestowed.
Beaming on the inside, Reaching the outside. Calling from its home, Light in the window.
A trusting form, A shelter from harm. Igniting a spark, Delivering from the dark.
It shines upon all, And answers the call. Love ever flows, Light in the window.
So open the curtains of your heart, You just may impart The Light which saves… The Light God so gave.
The heart to care, The hands to share. The eyes to show The Light in the window. © 2016 Melinda McQueenReviews
