Living StonesA Poem by Melinda McQueen
Living Stones One by one, Until the job’s done. Building something great, Something to partake. Hammering out the rough edges Until love it pledges. Conquering the mission, The Great Commission. Small on our own, Yet, when coming together we
are strong. Making something grand To forever stand. A life of service true, Where the workers are few. Still, we are hard at work, Living Stones, all to the
glory of the Lord. Let us not grow weary For we are His, piece by
piece. Because the stone that they
tried to throw away Has become the Chief Corner
Stone by grace. One by one, Until the job’s done… We’re collecting souls For the Living Stone. © 2016 Melinda McQueenReviews
