She WalksA Poem by Melinda McQueenShe Walks
She walks along the way, Having her own say. Doing everything she needs, Her desires are released.
She has no worries, And is truly free. At her pardon, She walks through her garden.
She stays the course, Even when things become worse. For she knows her worth Even when her plans don’t work.
She lives out her hopes In a way to cope. Though she tires, She walks through the fire.
She skips along To her song, Tuned
to her dream
She hears her desires loud and clear And gives no place to fear. Playing out her unreachable goals, She walks on her own.
She dreams beneath closed eyelids Of all she wants to cherish. In her dreams, she stands tall… Where she walks. © 2016 Melinda McQueenReviews
