The Wind in My SoulA Poem by Melinda McQueenThe Wind in My Soul
Soft and encouraging, Ever near, ever working. Leading me along the way, A present stay.
A gentle coaxing, A Helper in the knowing. A light bestowed, The wind in my soul
Pushing me forward Even when my anxious thoughts bombard. Still, it’s there, Filling my sails.
A cleansing breath, A quiet rest. A firm hold, The wind in my soul.
Deep and abiding, A force ever residing. It claims me And sets me free.
An everlasting comfort, A love evermore. Holy Spirit, my heart is Your home, As You’re the wind in my soul. © 2017 Melinda McQueenReviews
