A Little PrayerA Poem by Melinda McQueenA Little Prayer
Sent up to heaven on bended knee, Or from eyes closed. Head
bowed in reverent plea,
In hard times Know that He’s there. His grace, there to find In a little prayer.
As a crystal sea Reflects the light that shines, So too, does the soul in need Reflect the hope in Christ.
For He sits high, And still, He cares. Ever near, with a love far and wide… With a little prayer.
A hope refusing to be contained, An outflowing current Unleashed to forever stay; God’s ear bent.
The One who moves mountains Holds strong in all you bare. Mighty is the fountain Of a little prayer. © 2017 Melinda McQueenReviews
