The Rustling of the SpiritA Poem by Melinda McQueen
The Rustling
of the Spirit As a
cool breeze blows, And is
fully known, So
too, is the Holy Spirit Who
dwells in all who hear it. Abiding
in a special place Meant
only for His grace, A gentle
calling, do you feel it? The
rustling of the Spirit. A tender
touch of the truest love, A
work begun. As
the wind scatters fallen leaves in haste, The
Holy Spirit gathers brokenness in His grace. Eyes
are opened And
hearts deepened, Humbled
souls fear it; The
rustling of the Spirit. A
love to seek, Ready
to make you complete. Ever
there, ever willing, His
power to the soul is stilling. How
glorious is the Lord Who
reigns forevermore. Let all
adhere it; The
rustling of the Spirit. © 2017 Melinda McQueenReviews
