Gardeners of HeartsA Poem by Melinda McQueen
Gardeners of Hearts
Plowing dry soil, Watering to moisten. Letting the sun do its work To grow something once poisoned.
For so long it was hidden from light, Alone in the dark. Needing someone to dig deep-- Needing gardeners of hearts.
To show the way, To show ultimate love. To spread the word, To tell of the Lord above.
Allowing the Son to shine In a dry wasteland, enabling a fresh start. Watering with hope-- Gardeners of hearts.
What a joy To be stewardesses for God’s Kingdom. Spreading His Gospel to all Until the work is done.
Planting seeds along our paths… Wherever
we may embark. Gardeners of hearts. © 2018 Melinda McQueenReviews
