But If Not…

 

All-powerful God,

Able to do all things.

No limit to Your love,

Abounding in blessing.

 

I cry out to You,

And I know You hear me.

Yes, I know You can.

But if not… I am at peace.

 

For You sit high,

And are fully aware

Of what You’re doing;

I’m in Your care.

 

All my faith is in You, Lord,

One touch would make it right.

One word of Your breath would make it so.

But if not… I know I’m in your sight.

 

You know best,

And I’m in Your hands.

Your ways are perfect,

And with You, I shall withstand.

 

For You have taken care of me all my life,

Loving me strong and true.

I believe You will heal me here.

But if not… with Your love, I can wait till I stand before You.
