Visiting Jesus

 

O how great it is

To call upon the Name--

The Name of sweet Jesus.

He not only hears, but listens when we pray.

 

Ever near is the Prince of peace,

He waits for us to come.

Open are His arms,

Visiting Jesus… refreshed by His love.

 

When all seems in turmoil,

He calms the storm within.

A soothing salve is found

In calling on the Lord who is!

 

“Come…” His Word says,

He protects and causes faith to come alive.

“Come…”  Taste and see that He is good.

Visiting Jesus… He makes things right.

He is worthy to be praised.

A Friend closer than our next breath,

He hears when we call,

Loving us through our distress.

 

From Him are we never quarantined.

We can reach out to the King day and night,

To be touched by the Comforter… by the Healer.

Visiting Jesus… for sweet communion in His sight.
