A Nice Spring Day

 

The flowers are blooming,

The birds are chirping song.

The sky of blue cradles puffy clouds,

The soft wind seems to sing along.

 

Bees buzz around, seeking pollen

Which seems to claim everything.

Ahh, the relaxation in watching a bee collect nectar

From a flower with fluttering wings

 

Magnificent colors break forth;

Flowers of every color

Dot the earth in beauty.

How lovely the décor.

 

On a nice spring day, the atmosphere is alive,

To breathe in is to take in its glory.

To sit and ponder the universe

In all its created certainties.

 

A butterfly held on a breeze,

Making its way to a destination unknown.

The sun lights the day with just enough warmth

To kiss the skin with an energy untold.

 

So, go sit outside

And enjoy a nice spring day of your own.

It’s a beautiful time even though you may sneeze,

With pollen up your nose!
