Water, Ice and SteamA Poem by Melinda McQueenWater, Ice and Steam
Water flows throughout the world, In all its parts, ever dwelling. Water spreads abroad, Nourishing all, never yielding.
Ice formed from its liquid state, Becoming a bold solid. Made to preserve All therein.
Steam saturates as a mist, Its components being water and Ice. Steam fills the air And the three ever combined
Water, sustainer of life, Is God in His Holiness. Ever present, always near, Spreading abroad, He loves to bless.
Ice formed, As was Jesus, Son of God. Boldly, He was born to die, And now His grace never stops.
Steam saturates the believer, The Holy Spirit intercedes in prayer. Shedding light God’s Word, Filling the air and heart with care.
The Father, Son and Holy Spirit, These three make up the Holy Trinity. Water, ice and steam Was how the Trinity was once explained to me.
