The Unspoken LanguageA Poem by Melinda McQueenThe Unspoken Language
Delivers hearts up high, Strong feelings explore the outer realms. Sending a cry from the soul, To be heard… it never fails.
Utterance that can’t be formed, But to let your spirit speak. Finding their way to the Lord’s ear, For whom they seek.
Genuine cries from the spirit Give voice to the heart’s longings. Taking complete control, or better still… You surrender, unspoken words flowing.
Calling out to the Father, Who knows the seeking heart. A refreshing of the spirit takes place When conversing in this art.
Between My Lord and I, None else needs to hear. Sometimes it’s a soft cry, But sometimes… a firm petition in His ear.
Having not words to say, It dwells from age to age. Speaking to my Lord, for He understands The unspoken language.
