Rainbow of Colors

Rainbow of Colors

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Rainbow of Colors

Stretched across a sky of blue,

A glory to fill the eyes.

Many a color appear

From way up high.

Beautifully lit

To grace the sky.

An artistic form--

Rainbow of colors in sight.

How amazing is the seen,

The bow arched far and wide.

A reminder of a promise

In colors bright.

How oft we miss

The beauty God bestows.

Ev’rywhere we look--

Rainbow of colors are aglow.

Just look at the red rose,

And the bluebird flying in air.

Take a peek at the yellow sunflower,

And land of green roamed by hopping hair.

Ponder the American flag,

As a breeze ripples the red, white & blue wonder.

As you can see, the beauty of promise is ev’rywhere--

In rainbow of colors.
