Love, ForeverA Poem by Melinda McQueenThis style of poem is Concrete poetry... but I don't know how the format will fare on here...Love, Forever
Love is at its best when it is shared. Cherished and sculpted, always showing the best care. It ignites a flaming fire, and refuses to let one go. It fills up the whole being, and is unafraid to show. Loves believes in all measure, requiring nothing but one’s heart. Though known to break the heart, in mending, love does its part. Love will always be the greatest, especially when its poured pure. There is no hate in this world that love cannot ultimately cure. A treasure to ever hold on to, something which to ever hope in. The most amazing, awe-inspiring gift which knows no end. The heart smiles at its presence, filling the empty space. Gentle, yet strong, it shows quite amazing grace. Love can make one feel as light as a feather, Rising up high, refusing to be tethered. Often granting mercy when needed, Covers a multitude of sins, heeded. Spreading forth powerful wings, It hopes through all things. Where would we be Without Love?
