Of Love and Faith

Of Love and Faith

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Of love and faith

Sweet, the taste,

Humble, the way,

When given much,

Tender, the touch.

Love never fades.

A special place,

Seeking grace.

Enduring inside the heart,

Never to part.

Of love and faith.

Standing tall,

Love and faith calls.

There through hard times,

And in happiness, they reside.

Never to fall

Knowing no waste,

The two never wait.

For they are inseparable in life

As husband and wife.

Of love and faith.

To believe in their power,

To give hope to feelings which tower.

Love must have faith,

And faith must behold love’s face…

Never to cower.

Sweet, the fate,

Humble does grace.

When bestowing joy unending,

Tender is the mending

Of love and faith.

Thanks for reading. God bless.
Wonderfully powerful and hopeful poem. Faith requires an unyielding and enduring love to define its immovable strength. For hope bestows in faith an uncompromising love in something greater then ourselves. Thank you Melinda in sharing your art with us.
