The Love Inside

The Love Inside

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

The Love Inside

It calls,

It eagerly shouts.

It roars,

It rushes out.

To be heard,

To be lifted high.

To be seized,

To feel the love inside.

A powerful source,

A reckoning in the soul.

A weakness,

A strength bestowed.

The joy untamed,

The glory which refuses to hide.

The faith it emits,

The love inside.

Love it can be gentle, but it can also have unbreakable strength. Love in so many ways can't be summed up. It is different for all of us. Beautiful lines Melinda, as usual. You have a gift.

So nicely you have portrayed different facets of love.... Yes, it is weakness as well as strength! Yes, love emits faith, power as well as it seeks love . It's a beautiful poem... Thanks for sharing
