My Love’s Splendor

 

Like a delicate rose sprout anew

 

Opens to warmth of the sun,

 

So my heart, to your love.

 

Warming me like the morning’s sun,

 

You wrap me in your embrace.

 

Shining your love, time after time.

 

Like lilies unto a grassy field,

 

Your love dresses me in splendor.

 

A visit from your kisses sweet,

 

Sends me to a blissful state.

 

Where all the world is right,

 

And light is my heart inside

 

I could search this world over

 

And I wouldn’t find any grander.

 

As a river flows a stream,

 

Your love fills up my soul.

 

Indeed, you are my love’s splendor.
