The Light unto My Path

(Psalms 119:105)

 

The Light lit my path,
along my journey.

It’s been a long one,
but I’m happy.

 

Ever since I stopped carrying
luggage too heavy,
My path has been cleared--

Cleared for the ready.

 

The Light seemed to beckon
me along the way.

Calling me onward
unto a better place.

 

Living my life,
I know my Savior is in control.

For He keeps me in His grace
in which He richly bestows.

 

His Word is a lamp unto my feet
and a light unto my path,
He has taken all my burdens,
and I now know no lack

 

I’m running my race,
never looking back.

For I will ever trust

The Light unto my path.
