The Glistening Waterfall

 

Refreshing and powerful,

Gushing forth to overflowing.

Rushing to its destination,

Diving unto the unknowing.

 

Sighing loudly,

Given unto its own call.

It bellows through to its purpose,

The glistening waterfall.

 

Its spring never lacking,

Ever flowing unto itself.

Its sound soothing,

The abundance of its wealth

 

Droplets band together

In a chorus, one and all.

Surrendering to its way,

The glistening waterfall

 

The sun shining upon

The unlimited fountain cascade,

Creating a sparkling downpour

Of diamonds to the sight, it parades.

 

The sound of many waters

Give way to a hushed lullaby’s calm.

All the while roaring in intensity,

The glistening waterfall.
