Wrap Me in TheeA Poem by Melinda McQueenWrap Me in Thee
Peace and joy fill this soul, As the treasure I’ve found Is more than I’ve lost so. Grateful grace abounds.
Help me to remember my blessings of today, And not dwell on the pains of yesteryear. Fill my spirit with Thy sovereign way, Wrap me in Thee, so near.
This Christmas, place a big red bow Upon joy itself. Help me to grow In Thy exceeding wealth.
Let thankfulness be a garland About my neck. Grant Thy servant’s desire, and Wrap me in Thee, in love perfect.
Send upon me wisdom like flowers Which grow and flourish In time to Thy sustaining showers. Think upon me, my most cherished.
Shine forth Thy grace, As ye always have, from Thy treasuries. Until mine eyes are honored with Thy face, Wrap me in Thee.
