There’s This One I Know

 

There’s this one I know,

Whom my heart loves so.

I am known of Him

Far more than any gem.

 

My soul longs to see His face

Though He lives in my heart’s space.

Big and mighty is He,
Yet lives in me.

 

Like a lily in a field,

I will soon yield.

But o how He cares

Though He knows what my heart bears.

 

Perfect, I will never be.

Yet He gave His life for me.

There’s this One I know

Who loves me so.
