Come Like Rain

 

In the rain there is a healing,

A source of cleansing.

A rejuvenation takes place,

A spirit rinsing.

 

It falls like a lavishing rain,

This refreshment pours.

Enlightening the athirst soul

For evermore.

 

A stirring, a fulfilling,

It flows through currents always.

Unrelenting love...

Come like rain.

 

Quiet the mind,

And let Him speak.

Let the Holy Spirit fall,

As His voice is unique.

 

Fall like rain,

Let Him saturate the inner heart.

The beat of His Presence…

Clear from the start.

 

Lord of all, O how You come rushing in,

Full of mercy and grace.

You are welcome, You are welcome.

Come like rain.

I hate rain but this piece made me think because your first stanza has great flow yes I like it comes together because water does heal and spirit will rise, this is a could read.

while i myself do not happen to be religious, i find media that tackles the subject to often be incredibly empowering - your choice of words here accentuates this wonderfully.

these few lines in particular stood out - it's descriptive, in a way that truly makes me feel replenished, like taking a hot shower after a day out. i love everything about this, thank you for sharing!
